Frequently Asked Questions

I've tried almost every product out there, and they don't work. How are Vivian Lou insoles different?

✔️The single most important difference is that Vivian Lou insoles are engineered to adjust the pitch and position of your foot in the shoe and shift weight off the forefoot. This shift in weight stops your feet from slipping forward in the shoe, reduces forefoot pressure and pain, improves posture, and alleviates strain on knees, hips, legs and back.

✔️Slim, discreet and invisible. Because our insoles are not designed to gel, cushion or pad forefoot pressure, nothing goes under the toes or crowds the feet in high heels.

✔️Permanent placement and do not need to be replaced every 6 months.

✔️Easy to wipe clean and do not harbor bacteria or odor.

What's the difference between CLASSIC and COUTURE?
Both are fantastic! We explain the differences in detail here.

Sometimes I wear 7.5 and sometimes I wear an 8. Which size should I buy?
If you are unsure of what size to order because your shoe size, we recommend going with the smaller size. We do offer a  money back guarantee, and we will exchange sizes at no additional charge.

What if I have different sized feet?
If you have different sized feet (say, one foot is a size 7.5 and the other is size 8.5), it's best to purchase the size that fits each foot.

Will I need a larger size shoe to accommodate Vivian Lou Insolia insoles?
No. Our insoles are slim, discreet and invisible in the shoe. They fit in the heel of your shoe and are not placed under the ball of your foot, so you don't need a bigger shoe to accommodate them.

What shoes work best with Vivian Lou Insolia insoles?
Our insoles work best in heels that are between 2 inches and 4 inches high. But women have had success with lower and higher heel heights.

What if the bottom of the insole lifts off the sock liner?
While our adhesive is designed to be permanent placement, our insoles do not adhere to all shoe surfaces. On rare occasions, the bottom portion of the insole lifts off the sock liner. Body weight and warmth help the insoles adhere to the shoe. For women who have high arches or who do not place enough weight in the center of the shoe, the insole may lift up. Several woman have had luck blowdrying the insole once they are placed correctly in the shoe.

Are they affected if I wear tights or hose?
No. Vivian Lou Insolia insoles work perfectly fine with tights, hose and socks.

How do I clean Vivian Lou Insolia insoles?
Simply wipe clean with a wet wipe or wet paper towel.

How do I remove with Vivian Lou Insolia insoles?
The success of our insoles is due in large part to the strong adhesive. We recommend that you not move the insole from shoe to shoe. If you are unhappy with the product and would like to remove it, start at the toe end and pull up while holding the sock liner (insole of the shoe) down. Pull up in inch long increments to avoid pulling the sock liner out of the shoe.

If I am not happy, can I return the product?
Absolutely! If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please return it for a full refund (minus shipping).
